E.A.C.II. SERVO GEARS IN GEAR BOX.
---------------------------------

Whilst at the moment we are continuing with the present type servo mechanism for EAC.III, the Experimental Dept. feel that for EAC.II. it would be a safer policy to adopt the new form of gear which we got out experimentally incorporating

a/- a larger reduction in the worm gears.

b/- a less reduction in the spur gears.

c/- The stiffened up shafts.

Will you therefore kindly stop works at once from producing the parts which were originally instructed for EAC.II. and which were similar to the present EAC.III proposals, and replace them for EAC.II. with the parts outlined above.
