- 2 - E.2/HP.30.7.34. with the necessity for a shaped rubber mat to fit the wells; they are also fully rubber mounted, i.e. held down on rubber by rubber lined clamping plates. In determining the relation between tool cost and output it is likely that we should build at least 500 more chassis before the move to a separate gearbox is made, when we should definitely want to alter the floorboard shape. There is however the interim modification to consider with the engine and present gearbox moved 3" forward in the chassis. We are investigating if this will call for any floorboard modification due to the narrowing of the frame in the more forward position. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
