Y7380. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Sub-Frames. Sgl/E13.7.31 Copy to R.{Sir Henry Royce} Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} You will recollect that some time ago you suggested that we should have a few cars put through without sub-frames in order to ascertain the results. I pointed out that I thought no good purpose would be served unless we could make sure that the cars so fitted would remain under our control. You will be interested to know that arrangements have now been made for three 40/50 's to be so fitted, all of which will be for the Company's use. The three cars in question are as follows: 31-GX. 23-EX. 24-EX. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
