To OY. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to RP. V3592 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG11.11.22 BENDIX DRIVE. V3592 Bijur We are trying a Bijur type drive on the 20 HP. car in place of the ordinary standard Bendix. We propose actually using a number of the parts of the model pieces which EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} brought over. We should be greatly obliged if you could get the opinion of the Bijur people as to whether these parts are likely to be satisfactory. We found, with the ordinary Bendix that we could reduce the shock of engagement if we altered the angle and pitch of the thread, but if we get these too slow, then the pinion is difficult to engage. The information we require from the Bijur people is - any points which we could make use of in order to get the best possible results from their type of clutch. Could you please let us have this information as soon as possible. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
