Dodd; also the wheels and tyres. JKG. should note that it has been decided to standardise the 32-gallon petrol tank. He should therefore see that a scheme is available. Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} should note that we must send the correct front road springs out to Hancock as soon as possible, also the latest pendulum lever. Hancock reports that the front road springs have taken a permanent set. Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} must ensure that the strengthened brake levers are despatched. Nor's Car. P. Dodd is responsible for dealing with 18-G-IV and Nor's car. The unit for 18-G-IV will go on the test bed and Hives will ensure that the carburation and power output are reasonably satisfactory before handing it over to be fitted in the car. We have now decided to fit the automatic starting device as on 20-G-IV. He should order the carburetter and automatic starting device for Nor's car. Supercharged Bentley. Apart from estimating the increase in efficiency due to the diffuser, the thing we are most interested in on the supercharged engine is good slow running with the supercharger in its present position, and also whether we can obtain reasonably good slow running with the supercharger on the induction side of the engine. H.I. Sita should obtain the necessary information. | ||
