DERBY.

Dear Sir,

Can we say in reply to your letter of the 23rd. May, that we understand and appreciate how inconvenient a failure of the sort you have experienced can be, but we in all sincerity, believe that in providing a complete new differential free of charge, we have more tham taken care of any responsibility that may be ours.

We have reviewed the circumstances and tried to understand your point of view, but we cannot, we regret, modify the charges already submitted

Yours faithfully,
VAUXHALL MOTORS LIMITED.

G.V.DIMMOCK.
