(APPENDIX - SHEET 3a) Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.14/KW.6.11.35. Using Mark VI 84 m.m. matrix and taking ratio of Mark VI dissipation / Mark V dissipation = 1.15 (15% represents mean gain with Marston's latest Mark VI against Mark V). Dissipation (for 2 sq.ft.) = 62.2 x 1.15 = 71.5 B.T.U's/min/°C. temp.diff. as before H / Δt = (602 x 71.5) / (144 x 2) = 149.4 Δt = H / 149.4 = 8100 / 149.4 = 54.3 Critical Temp. = 100 - 54.3 = 45.7°C. | ||
