19th June, 1928

Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

We beg to refer to the call of our Mr. Mantell last week, when he carried out bench tests with the Solex Carburettor at your Works, and beg to tender our best thanks for the facilities kindly granted him.

We trust the results already secured are of interest to you, and in this connection, we shall be very pleased indeed to instruct our Mr. Mantell to wait upon you for the proposed road test at any time convenient to your goodselves.

It would, however, be a convenience to us if you could arrange to let us have 48 hours notice of the date that would suit you, and meantime,

We are, dear Sirs,

Yours faithfully,
FOR
SOLEX LTD.,
H Gordon
