Dear Sir, With reference to your letter of the 20th inst., addressed to Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., DERBY, we have pleasure in informing you that three "Dunlop" S.S. Tyres, 33 x 5, as detailed here-under, were despatched to you to-day, through the intermediary of The General Transport Co., PARIS, carriage forward:- Tyre marked A.17. which is worn out and shewing canvas after having done 3204 miles during our test runs here in France. Tyre marked X.10. which burst after having done 1624 miles. Tyre marked X.1. which burst after having done 1746 miles. We shall be greatly obliged if, in the event of further correspondence arising regarding the above tyres, you will address same to Mr. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hives, Experimental Dept., Messrs.
