R.R. 27/1000 11 (T) '09. 11/11/10 K.F. 1000 ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED, NIGHTINGALE ROAD, DERBY. TELEGRAMS: "ROYCAR," DERBY. TELEPHONES: 476 (FOUR LINES). DEPARTMENTAL MEMO. This column is for Name of Person addressed. DATE. -5- The insulation of the wires has also failed. (Coil wire to dash.) The tubes do not appear to be sufficiently insulated from the wires. (At the end of the tubes). Clutch. Very good for change gear, but squeaks and grabs. (Appears to require good soaking in oil). Bonnet Strips. Appear good.- I think the strip along the bottom of the sides is very good, and ought to have been adopted as standard; the present beading does not allow bonnet to bed well. ( Strip along side only causing bottom of bonnet to have to bulge in.) (Reported to Mr Elliott.) Side Lamp Brackets. Very poor; vibrate badly - one broke while car was running. May be O.K. for for light electric side lamps, but certainly (Contd) This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers. | ||
