To: c/o Mr Clarke Order No. Customer's No. Re Petrol & oil Resisting Enamels X 3067 We have tried the above Enamels & the Castrol Resisting Enamel was applied to a Float Chamber Casting & then Completely immersed in Castrol for 50 Hours & appeared quite good Castrol having no effect on the Enamel. Should think it would be as well to obtained some more enamel & do a complete set of Carburettors for an Engine & see if we still get the same good results when the Enamel is subject to the oil & Petrol. Petrol Resisting Enamel was tried but when Petrol is applied the Enamel Peels & Rubs off & I don't think we need go any further with this.
