To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X7430 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}3/M20.5.27. EAC.7. GEOMETRY. X.7430 X.8430 With reference to BY/CGH{W Clough}6/G17.5.27., the last para., the two layouts of the EAC.7. geometry - N.schs. 2375/7 - should not be proceeded with. We shall be sending you a little later on a further scheme combining the modifications of the two, with a view to getting still more satisfactory geometry, but as we understand that the geometry existing on the car is reasonably satisfactory we do not propose to do this job immediately, but to proceed with the others which appear to be more urgent. This does not in any way interfere with the general steering experiments on the Phantom which we are sending through to you, and which we are urgently requiring. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
