In the above connection the following information may be useful :-

Maximum gap of contact points (measured normally to surfaces) .050" at screw stop.

Maximum gap at lever stop on core .037".

The spring used is of slightly stronger rating than the cutout spring equivalent to the removal of two turns of that spring, but with the same uncompressed length.

The shunt coil winding is exactly as the shunt coil winding of the cutout.

The resistance winding consists of 18-1/2 ft. of 26 SWG. D.C.C. Eureka (not 22 SWG. as erroneously stated in one of our previous reports).
