Our own criticisms at the moment, apart from the foregoing, are that the slow running of the car under load is very poor for a 12 cylinder; noise generally about which Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has written separately but which we have always criticised.

A whine has now occurred on the overrun on 3rd gear.

As you know, we are having rubber packing inserted between the body and chassis, i.e. similar treatment to that which Park Ward gave to 34-EX. This is being done this week-end, and we shall be able to report any noticeable difference on Monday next.
