I have been keeping a careful record of any adverse criticisms of 35-EX from those who try it, as we often get interesting and possibly valuable opinions from people who are not accustomed to the car. The following is the collection to date :- " Noticeable vibration on the overrun. Mr.Smith of Ford Motors" " Americanised in appearance as regards steering wheel, instrument board, etc. Mr.Sam Harris (owner of P.II)" " On could get housemaid's knee holding out the clutch in traffic. Mr.Geoffrey Duveen (owner of Packard 12-cyl)" " Thought that 35-EX had more engine noise at about 60 m.p.h. than his Bentley. Mr.Taylor (owner of Bentley 3 1/2 litre)" " Disappointed with acceleration compared with his P.II. Admits it is better but not as much better as he had been led to suppose. Capt.Butler (owner of P.II) " Slow-running Inclined to swing on corners with full load and luggage. Capt.McEacharn's driver (former owns P.I) " (contd) | ||
