MINUTE 4. (Cont'd) BENSPORT.

Engine Finish. Samples of various finishes to be submitted for Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s inspection.
The next Bensport unit which is being built up has a modified finish.

Cutout. Decided to fit cutout of the Silver Ghost type, but steps to be taken to keep fumes from entering body, probably by the use of a short tail pipe.
This matter is in the hands of E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}, and we are following it up.

(15 Bensport chassis to be ready end of July or early August; these are in addition to 1st Exp. chassis.)

MINUTE 5. SPECTRECodename for Phantom III GENERALLY.

MINUTE 7. P.II.
Boring out cylinders etc. of 85-JS.{Mr Johnson's Secretary}

MINUTE 8. INDEPENDENT SPRINGING.
In the hands of E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}, and we are following it up.

MINUTE 9. RADIATORS.
Radiators - further samples. (These models are those referred to in Minute 8, p.8. Jan.12th, and are to be made up for inspection having radiused corners and of a form which it may be possible to produce as a pressing, and to be used as a loose shell, chromium plated.)
Having attention of E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} These models are independent of the 4-2 for Peregrine and 2 for 20/25. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} saw Peregrine type when at Works. The 2 of 20/25 H.P. type are in hand.

MINUTE 10. ENGINE MOUNTING.
Experiments with floating power.

MINUTE 11. "Z" SERIES MODIFICATIONS.
Automatic control to shock dampers, to be fitted after 5,000 miles.
Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} states 18-G.4 is on test, and work on shock absorbers is being carried out. Hope to send to France after Easter.
