Daimler Test Tested by Hives & Peal; 38 HP 6 cyl: 1911 type; torpedo body, filled with slipper fan pulley, it was stated that carbon had just been cleaned out. Engine. Slow running, poor, Vibration, no periods could be felt either on direct or gears, after 30 m.p.h on top speed engine felt out of balance, which increased with the speed. Knocks there were very bad intermittent knocks running light & also under power. Lubrication engine smoked badly the whole time. Compressions uneven the best V.{VIENNA} Fair. Remarks slipper was hard tight leather magneto coupling quiet, large flywheel, no retard rattles chain drive camshaft very quiet. | ||
