PN{Mr Northey}1/LR{Mr Ellor}/14. 8. 25.

From: PN.{Mr Northey}

To: Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

(Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager})

I mentioned to you yesterday that I would like to get hold of some sort of a conveyance, presumably an experimental or second-hand "20" which I could use from about the 21st inst. until the 7th September. I should be taking it over to France, near Etretat.

B.J., to whom I mentioned this matter, asks me to enquire from you what car you could suggest might, with a little arrangement and without seriously interfering with its normal use, be made available.

I should prefer an Open car, but I must necessarily be prepared to take what you may have, whether it is Open or Closed. Also I am prepared to use any model, 20 h.p. or 40/50 h.p.

PN.{Mr Northey}

P.S. I shall be paying the ordinary rate for mileage as in the case of private use of cars by officials in London.

PN.{Mr Northey}
