Bentley Engine Suspension.

Referring to the apparent distortion of the crossmember carrying the flexible support at the rear of the gearbox, since the tests so far indicate a movement of the lower part of the crossmember to the rear contrary to the direction of the torque, it appears that the upper part of the section may be distorting in some unusual way.

We accordingly send herewith N. Sch.4138, shewing a stiffener for the upper part of the centre section for trial as soon as possible. Would By, let RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} have an advance print of this.
