X5770 X4663 The following is what we understand these cars to represent. Since however India 3. seems to be some little way off still it will no doubt be possible to get on to it some engine modifications. INDIA 3. India 3. is the next 10,000 miles test car which we intend shall leave as soon as possible. It is the present production chassis with the following modifications:- (1) 3" longer body and wheel base, and on raked steering. (Handwritten note: Frames in red awaiting design) (2) x Modified petrol tank and grid, giving increased ground clearance. (3) - 31" x 6" Dunlop balloon tyres on 19" rims, and narrow hubs. (Handwritten note: Wheels) (4) ✓ Top of frame 19.600" from ground against present 21.5" under load. (Handwritten note: covered by No? 1x3) (5) x Cross in frame to give increased torsional rigidity (Handwritten note: DO awaiting detailing) (6) x Scuttle damper. (Handwritten note: D✓one fitted to 10GTT) INDIA 4. India 4. is a car having all the above, and all the improvements we may wish to fit, such as: (1) Front axle with .500" more downset, and axle control. (2) Hypoid rear axle. (3) Revised engine.
