Cox - Advertising Manager} 18770 Heat in Bodies I submit that a good method which might be incorporated on both 40/50 & 20/25 HP chassis by "W" for the exclusion of gas from under floorboards would be to fit side plates to the inner end of gear quadrant, front & back, suitably insulated to take up relative movement. [Diagram Annotations] End Plate Already Fitted Felt Already Fitted Shown Part Suggested Plate fitted to A With Suitable Felt or other insulation from chassis. This is done by some coachbuilders in wood. & is quite effective. The arrangement referred to Bykeh4/27.5.31 is a draught (Fresh air outside chassis) Excluder & is of no use to keep gasses out.
