With reference to our telephone conversation yesterday, considerable trouble has been experienced in getting satisfactory Staybrite Steel Radiators. We understand that this matter is having your urgent attention, and that in the meantime nothing better can be done at the moment. We are, therefore, arranging to despatch the car with this radiator fitted on the understanding that if you can let us know anything further with regard to the Staybrite Steel Radiators prior to delivery of the complete car, we shall take advantage of this knowledge in this particular case before the car is delivered. The car in question is GXO-46, which we are despatching to Salmon & Sons, Newport Pagnell today. We have notified Sales Dept. of the position. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn. P.S. Since writing this memo. unfortunately further leaks have developed on this radiator, and, as the car is urgently wanted, Sales have instructed that it is to be despatched on temporary radiator. The Staybrite Steel Radiator should be sent forward and fitted when it is considered to be satisfactory. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn. | ||
