E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Dept. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. ROY{Sir Henry Royce}/Ms. RADIATORS - 40/50 HP. CHASSIS. Please note that the Experimental Department after carefully testing out the scheme have decided that they prefer the intermediate scheme which we tried out on three radiators viz. 6 m/m in the waist, and 7 1/2 m/m on the end, that is to say the old type increased in diameter at the ends. The Order Office will note that this enables them to use up the stock of tubes which were lying at the tube makers by bulging the ends to a larger diameter, and then to keep on with this type for future requirements.
