Shock absorber joint issues, load adjustments, and resulting wear.

-3- can be heard by the passengers in the car. The trouble is not with the ball joints which can be adjusted, but the joints in the shock absorber itself. We hesitiate to increase the load on the shock absorbers because of the possible increase in wear. The maximun wear on the rear shock absorbers at present is 85 lbs. although on light open touring car we have increased it to 120 lbs. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
