Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/AD11.11.30 and the last paragraph.
When I was at Derby I understood you were going into the question of cost of getting a set of special springs made up on the lines indicated, and I should be glad to have information on this point.

We heard from Mr. Hopps after our first letter saying that since the load of his shock absorbers had been increased there had been a material improvement in the springing at high speeds, and that short of having special springs, such as those on 26-EX, the car could not be improved upon.
