2 J.D.119. Internal construction of cell 13 plates of a thin type are used combined with thin wood & ebonite separators. This is to enable the maximum capacity to be obtained in the minimum of space. Positive Plates No of plates 6 Active surface per plate 5.4" x 4.5" Thickness .092" Negative plates. No of plates 7 Active surface per plate 5.4" x 4.5" These plates are much thinner than our Std. & being more in number i.e. 13 instead of 11. The thinner plate is more easily buckled & will not retain the paste so effectively particularly with the type of grid used having the apices of the grid bars facing outward.
