| To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} x262 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/KW.8.5.36. E.R. Hall - Le Mans. Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}4/E.7.5.36. We realise that the Lagonda people intend to raise objections to E.R. Hall's car at Le Mans if possible. We have had correspondence with Sr. in Paris, who has put our queries up to the Race Committee. Fortunately the chief man on the Committee is Charles Faroux, who is a very good friend of ours. We are arranging that every modification which is being carried out to the car will be agreed to. An official from the R.A.C. is coming to the Works on Monday to measure up the engine dimensions. As regards the brakes, as it is our intention to standardise the aluminium drums if they are satisfactory, we can get clearance for these. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
