Would you please let me know whether you are perfectly satisfied that what you propose doing to the brakes different from standard is permitted under the rules.

I have heard that some one is going to look out specially for things which we have done which will enable them to get us disqualified.

There is a rumour from the same source that we are going to fit Lockheed brakes but I imagine that this is nonsense.

With the information above it is particularly important that we should watch to see that we do not contravene the rules in any other way apart from brakes.

I should like to know what the rules allow about brakes and what we are doing.
