Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.

In view of the fact that it is not open until 95°C. is reached, it appears to have partially lost its charge. Will you therefore be good enough to return it to us for examination and repair.

We are exceedingly sorry that the samples which have been sent to you are not as good as we would like them to have been, but they were made as quickly as possible from relatively rough finish as we did not wish to wait for the completion of the tools.

It is possible that the writer may visit your Works on Friday this week to see Mr. H.P. Smith of your Experimental Dept., and if this is the case will make a point of asking to see Mr.Steadman.as well.

Yours truly,
THE BRITISH THERMOSTAT CO. LTD.

W.Martin-Hurst.
Director.
