46051. Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/MS. From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. c. to G/Gn. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.12/MA.20.10.33. With reference to the attached memo regarding A.T.Speedometers reference G/Gn/CA.9/DN.19.10.33. These invoices should be cleared and the cost charged to Order No.54107. The charges shown were for altering by hand the dials on the Show Chassis Bentley revolution indicators in accordance with our instructions. We are assured by Mr.Buckland of the A.T.Co., that on further instruments other than these first ones no charge will be made for the extra marking. We are not quite sure regarding the charge for the instrument received from Messrs.S.Smith & Sons (M.A.) Ltd. Is this our liability or did Messrs. Smiths repurchase the instrument from ourselves. As this instrument originally came from Messrs Smiths & Sons it rather looks as if a mistake has been made. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
