For the attention of Mr.H.R.Buckland.

Dear Sir,

We are in receipt of yours of the 17th. instant reference HRB/B and we can only conclude that you have been misinformed regarding R.R.50 alloy as we regularly die cast hundreds of castings in this material.

We are interested to learn that you are "hot on the trail" of temperature compensation and I personally should very much like to know what Mr.E.A.Watson thought of my suggestions in that direction.

Whilst we are extremely anxious to avoid any delay in the delivery of these instruments we quite agree that you should incorporate any still further improvements.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
