Dear Mr. Maton,

Many thanks for your letter of the 2nd instant enclosing the information asked for, and also for the samples you have sent us, which we hope to receive in due course.

The sound deadener certainly seems to be on the heavy side, but if it is as efficient as I think it will be, additional weight must be overlooked.
