SECRET. X5250. X.5250. X.5260. X.5500. To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} From Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} Re. Bonnet, Radiator and Dash - Japan 111. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}11/E31.3.31. Referring to the mock-up which I saw when at Derby last week, I agree that this is a considerable improvement from an appearance point of view on 18-G4. I think that at this stage we can rest content with it because in any case we shall see experimental cars before we get to production. The parts need not be sent up to London for any one else to see.
