Up-to-date we have no record of a failure where all the latest modifications have been introduced. This is being carefully watched. ROW 2: Nature of Complaint: Servo jaggers and Brake Thuds. Pre-India: W. -, N. -, P. - India Series: W. 2., N. 17., P. 1. (Sub-total: 20.) Last Qtr's. Total: 14. Remarks: Scheme for allowing flexibility in servo operation has been standardised. On those cars where no flexibility device is fitted the halos are re-bedded. A new fabric has been standardised. ROW 3: Nature of Complaint: Starter Motor Failures. Information has been circularised at different times dealing with the various methods of overcoming the trouble. ROW 4: Nature of Complaint: Steering Joggles and Wobbles. Remarks: We are successfully dealing with the low speed wobble by fitting the spring loaded cross steering tube. High speed wobbles are practically non-existent. The latest worm and nut has considerably improved joggles and we are introducing it on replacement for older cars. | ||
