With reference to Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}1/H.18.7.30, we have discussed this matter with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and we are arranging for all the special features not relating directly to "left handing" to be ordered for the R.H. chassis at the commencement of N.2. series, with the exception of the Auto Klean device for the engine oil system. This we are arranging to be brought in on the 51st. chassis in this series. The following features however are peculiar to American requirements:- (1) Backing light and switch. (2) Spring Bumpers. (3) Foot operated dimming switch. (4) Stop light and switch. We think that these require consideration by the Administration, and a decision given as to whether we are to make provision for them to be fitted on the R.H. chassis. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
