-2- Ash Tray on Instrument Board. May foul the passengers knees if fitted as drawn, but we wish you to make the board to drawing.. We agree that the wireless cannot be fitted to the back of the dash. The Park Ward proposed draught and wind noise seals for the doors were inspected, and we agreed that they might be fitted to this car. Two headlamp pins will be sent to you by Mr.Dodd to replace the two we borrowed from production Wraith. It was agreed that the ramp for the feet of the rear passengers as you suggested should be fitted to the rear floor. The wood we use for floors is plywood of which the centre section is made of Balsa wood. This material can be obtained from Messrs.Mallinsons. We agree that the instrument board be made to drawing, and that all of the instruments supplied with the chassis are not correct. The method of painting the discs for the pressed steel wheels was described. The screen mirror to go on the top of the screen capping. The tail lamps for this car will be supplied and fitted by ourselves. We have taken note of the difficulty you experienced with the handle on the nearside of the screen rail due to the revised position of the screen wiper, and shall bear this in mind during tests. A scheme has to be provided by ourselves for carrying the road tools under the bonnet. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. CHIEF ENGINEER - CHASSIS. | ||
