Dear Sirs,
Re: Chassis 30.G.VII.
We returned to you during our visit yesterday your print of a section through the front wing of 30.G.VII, and pointed out to you that the headlamp tube is not shewn at the correct height for this car - see PD.285 sent some time ago and PD.345 recently sent.
The inner valance of your wing is shewn very full, in fact so much so that it may foul the headlamps. Their position is given on PD.345. We do not wish you to adhere to the wing form on PD.345 of necessity, but it is essential to clear the lamps and horns.
Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
CHIEF ENGINEER - CHASSIS.
