To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/LC6.1.23. The dummy chassis for Barkers will be despatched either today or tomorrow. This chassis has the cast dash, foot boards and altered petrol tank. We hope also that this chassis will have fitted to it the step irons and mudguards stays. We cannot be certain of this however. I propose coming to London on Monday arriving at Conduit Street on Monday afternoon. I shall bring with me 8-EX car which has the spare wheel carrier at the rear - with me I shall bring the mudguard stays and step irons for the first Sports car at Hoopers. I shouldlike to go to Hoopers and actually see the body, and deliver to them these parts. On Tuesday I shall visit some of the Aerodromes near London. I can therefore leave you 8-EX car for you to examine the spare wheel carrier, and borrow a car to go round the aerodromes. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
