We have carried out tests on a standard flywheel and on the W.W. lightened flywheel with the new strengthened cover plate to test the clutch fingers and cover plate for bending. With the clutch springs choc-a-bloc we loaded the arm of the clutch operating shaft up to 120 lbs. and took readings of the angular movement of this shaft. From the graphs it will be seen that the new flywheel is stronger than standard in the ratio 1.84:1. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/M.Orylls. | ||
