one another with the usual mica strips. After being assembled in this way, the ring is pressed home into retaining ring "A" which slightly compresses the ring and retains the sector rigidly in place.

The enclosed circular herewith shows views of Bakelite commutators after molding. The "B" design with the re-enforcing end bushings is made in mold Figure #1, while the "A" design is made in mold as per Figure #2.

Our standard asbestos material #260 is used for this work. The Damard Lacquer Company of England are making some condensation products but we have no information as to their various compositions or what their designating numbers are.

We are supplying our standard Bakelite Molding Materials to the Damard Company for use of their customers when so specify. We cannot quote prices for the English market but your London works can of course get a price on our No. 260 Molding Material delivered in England if they will apply to the Damard Lacquer Co.

If we can give you any further information in this connection, we are gladly at your service.

Very truly yours,

GENERAL BAKELITE COMPANY
