PHANTOM. REAR & SIDE SPARE WHEEL CARRIERS.

I attach hereto copy of Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M.11.6.27. This note is self-explanatory. It was written in reply to BY21/H.9.6.27. wherein it was pointed out that Sales would undoubtedly be expecting a detachable side spare wheel carrier of some description, which could be quickly taken off the car if and when it was not desired to be used.

You will notice that R.{Sir Henry Royce} has considered this issue and definitely turned it down.
