Messrs. Park Ward & Co.,

Willesden,
London, N.W.10.

Dear Sirs,

Re Door Locks and Door Dovetails.
--------------------------------

We would like to confirm our conversation with Mr. Ward yesterday concerning experiments which we wish to try with door locks and door stops.

Bentley Drop Head Coupe for Excl. Department.
--------------------------------------------

We agree to fit the Silent Travel lock and your standard base buffer on the near side door of this car, and on the offside door to fit the Silent Travel lock with the Boyriven dovetail as proposed by Mr. Ward, the base buffer to the door on this side being deleted.

Enclosed Limousine. Long Wheelbase Phantom III - 38-EX.
------------------------------------------------------

We understand that this body has been built to accommodate Silent Travel locks to all four doors and we agree that they should be fitted. In addition to these locks we wish to fit, if possible, on the offside doors only the Boyriven door dovetail of the "Bassick" type.

24.G.6. Enclosed Limousine.
---------------------------

It was agreed that in order to obtain a test of the "Bassick" type Boyriven door dovetail in conjunction with the standard lock, that we should fit slam locks and the "Bassick" type door dovetail to all four doors. The door lock is to be of the type originally used on the Bentley.
