We attach to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH's. copy the original of :- QPL.184, Position of slot in keel plate for ejector chute. The above scheme shews a slot in the keel plate of the Beaufighter to permit the empty shells to be ejected into the keel. This scheme was however, abandoned as it means moving the controls and flying cables. We are issuing the tracing for record purposes only. EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J.
