to RY from Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} copy to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BMR. EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/3.12.28. ONE WHEEL AT THE REAR. 14.G.4. X5600 X5800 X5800 We send herewith N.Sch.2769. shewing the design for one wheel carrier permanantly at the rear. Most of the pieces are the same as those for the dual carrier shewn on N.Sch.2760, already sent to you. The new pieces are the central bolt and fittings and the triangular stay. The tail lamp and number plate fittings are shewn on N.Sch. 2639. and will have been already detailed. We notice that we have shewn the wheel a little too close to the rear chassis cross tube on both this and N.Sch2760. No doubt you will have already dealt with this ponit. We wish this carrier to be fitted to the Hooper Sedanca, 14.G.4. The dual carrier will be needed for 16.G.4. A luggage carrier will be sent to you for use with the single wheel carrier in time for you to get it fitted to 14.G.4. before it goes to France. We would like it to have the single carrier on before it is brought to W.W. for Mr Royce's approval. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
