X4410 RECEIVED 18 NOV 1921 Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} BY6-P18.11.21. GOSHAWKAero EngineCodename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after KestrelAero Engine 11. R.R. DISTRIBUTION BOARD. Re LeC.1469. On the Automatic Cutout, West WitteringHenry Royce's home town have shown two terminals in line with one another with a hole between them which pass the two terminals in question. The distance between the two terminals is so small in relation to the stiffness of the cable that we are inclined to think that W.W. have cut the distance between the two terminals too fine. We are issuing the Distribution Board in the usual way, because unless one can definitely state the distance is too small, W.W. are inclined to think that we are hypercritical. I am therefore calling your attention to this particular point in order that you can give it careful consideration when the Distribution Board is made and see that there is no likelihood of trouble occurring from the points referred to.
