To BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from R. {Sir Henry Royce} c. to OJ. c. to Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to BFO. X4410 R1/G17.11.21. X.4081. RE LIGHTING AND IGNITION SWITCH FOR X.4410 X.4338. "GOSHAWKAero EngineCodename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after KestrelAero Engine II". X.4421. We are redrawing this on the reduced scale but somewhat simpler, less bulky, and better design, and we hope to let you have this by the end of the week. I presume there is no difficulty in getting the detailed drawings out for the distribution board, automatic switch, and other parts which we have already sent you. I have spent much time and energy on these electrical parts, and since they now promise to be successful (thanks to the works progress in producing bakelite mouldings etc) I think they want a last "flick up" to make them satisfactory and profitable.
