-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}3/KW.27.10.34. (2) Lead Bronze Big Ends. Recently running a short endurance test at 4500 r.p.m. we had big end trouble. It is possible that this was due to insufficient lubrication, but it is noticeable that all the bearings are cracked across the place where the transverse oil hole is drilled to convey lubrication to the gudgeon pin. This would appear to be a definite weakness. We shall be glad if you will give it design consideration. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
