Minutes of Meeting.

(15). Exhaust Cut-out.
This could easily be omitted.

(16). Governor.
We do not agree to the elimination of the governor and believe in view of Oy's remarks that they would not now press strongly for this.
We do not agree an arrangement of the hand throttle whereby it can be brought back to a stop with confidence that the engine will continue to run as such an arrangement would interfere with our starting carburetter scheme.

(17). Accessories.
1. Oil Filter. We agree that this should be improved and E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} will put forward a scheme.
2. Air Cleaner. We now have a carburetter to which America could fit an air cleaner.
3. Oil level gauge visible on instrument board. We do not agree as to the necessity or desirability of this additional complication.
4. American speedometer drive. No difficulty in meeting their wishes.
5. Fuel gauge graduated in US. gallons. There is no difficulty in doing this.
6. Stewart Warner Vacuum feed. We see no reason why the Autovac as supplied on Derby cars should not be used for America.
7. American horn, vibration type. We agree to this.
8. American glass-tube fuses. It was not agreed that these were any improvement on our own scheme which is considered very good and should be adhered to.
9. A fused terminal on dash for attaching double electric windscreen wiper. This has been arranged.
