Re Spring Drive Couplings.
With reference to our Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/NRC{N. R. Chandler}3/EW5.3.25. of yesterday, we now find that N. have been able to drill and tap the existing coupling rings and fit oil plugs in them, thus virtually making them into G.1813.
This will obviate the necessity of changing coupling rings and fitting new blocks etc., so that it will only be necessary to supply & fit the spring drive coupling barrel to Drawing G.1820, and 2 packing rings R.1591.
