It has been found that, owing to excessive clearance allowed on the drawings, the pin which supports the roller follower on the rockshaft is a very slack fit in the rockshaft. Modified drawings are being sent through by BY's Dept., which increase the size of the hole in the rockshaft slightly and provide a shoulder on the pin. Will you please make sure that all future parts made incorporate this modification. Existing parts can be rectified by increasing the hole in the rockshaft and making new pins with a shoulder. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/F.J.Hardy. P.S. We shall require this modification on the rockshaft in the box supplied to the Adamant Co., which we are fetching to-day. | ||
